Heat Shield / Transmission Tunnel and Gearbox Thermal Shield – 4K0399299A

Original thermal shield (underbody / transmission mount and center tunnel thermal insulation shield), designed for Audi A7 Sportback (type 4K / 4K8) cars and related MLBevo platform models (Audi A6 C8 4K, Audi A8 D5 4N, Audi Q7 / Q8) equipped with 3.0 V6 TFSI (55 TFSI versions) petrol engines and selected 3.0 V6 TDI diesel units.

Original VAG thermal insulation component. Made of high-grade, stamped honeycomb-structured aluminum, characterized by excellent heat reflectivity and low weight. It provides direct thermal protection for the vehicle floor, electrical harnesses, hydraulic lines, and transmission mounts and supports against heat radiation emitted by the exhaust system and the catalytic converter / particulate filter area. It prevents the cabin interior from overheating and the degradation of rubber components.
