Original thermal imaging camera for the Night Vision Assistant (Night Vision Assistant / FIR infrared camera), designed for luxury Audi models (A6 C7, A7 4G, A8 D4 generations).

A factory-fitted component of the VAG Group's advanced safety systems, developed in collaboration with the global safety systems leader Autoliv. It uses a far-infrared (FIR) thermal imaging sensor to detect heat radiation emitted by objects in front of the vehicle at distances of up to 300 meters. It is responsible for displaying a clear thermal image on the central instrument display (FIS / Virtual Cockpit), automatically detecting the silhouettes of pedestrians and wild animals, highlighting them in yellow or red, and triggering audible and visual warnings about the risk of collision.
