Original electric left-side tailgate lifting and lowering actuator (spindle electric drive for the rear tailgate integrated with a spring and electric motor), designed for Audi A7 Sportback, S7 and RS7 (4K / 4K8 generation) models produced from 2018 to 2026, including versions with 3.0 V6 TFSI (55 TFSI), 2.0 TFSI (40/45 TFSI), TDI diesel engines and S and RS variants, based on the modular longitudinal MLBevo platform.

Original VAG group comfort system actuator component. It consists of an electric motor with a screw/spindle transmission, an internal tensioning spring, a Hall sensor monitoring the angular position, and a wiring harness with sealed power and signal connectors. It is responsible for fully automated, smooth, and quiet opening and closing of the large rear tailgate in the Sportback body style (via the button in the tailgate, the switch in the driver's door, the remote control, or a foot gesture with the Easy Open package).

Fitment / installation tip: The initial designation 4K8 (tailgate group 827) clearly indicates the geometry, stroke length and clamping force tailored for the large, glazed Sportback tailgate in the Audi A7 (does not fit the A6 C8). Damage to the left actuator most often results in the tailgate seizing halfway through its movement, a loud squeal from the spindle transmission, or the tailgate immediately reversing upon encountering resistance. After installing the new actuator, it is recommended to perform the tailgate end position adaptation procedure (basic settings in the control unit). Before purchasing, we recommend comparing the OE number on the sticker on the part body or verifying it using the vehicle's VIN.
