Unlike the 10A version (AL suffix), revision 1EA971675AM is a current-optimized version rated at 6A (charging power of approx. 1.4 kW). This version was designed for safe, long-term battery charging from standard domestic 230V outlets, without risking overload of older or more delicate household electrical installations.

The device features an integrated Type A + DC 6mA RCD module (detecting AC leakage current at 30mA and DC leakage current at 6mA), a built-in thermal sensor in the plug to protect the wall outlet from overheating, relay contact self-diagnostics, and a dust- and water-tight IP65 / IP67-rated housing approved for safe indoor and outdoor use.
