Fitment / installation tip: Paint code LX7J is a characteristic dark gray metallic (Manhattangrau), extremely popular in S-Line and Black Edition configurations of 4K8 models. Using the original OEM aluminum hood eliminates common problems with aftermarket steel replacements – incorrect gaps with the front fenders, surface waviness under light and excessive weight that overloads the gas struts. Before tightening the hinge bolts, it is recommended to pre-set an even gap relative to the bumper and Matrix LED headlights.
