Lane Assist Camera Module 4H0907107H Audi A6 C7 A7 4G A8 D4 Matrix LED OE

Original Lane Assist Camera Control Unit / Module (J852 – Image Processing / Lane Departure Warning Control Module) – 4H0907107H

Original electronic control unit for the front camera of the lane assist system Audi Active Lane Assist (image processing control unit J852 – Steuergerät für Bildverarbeitung / Lane Keeping Assist Module), installed in premium and luxury Audi vehicles based on the longitudinal MLB (Modularer Längsbaukasten) architecture – e.g. in. Audi A6 (C7 / 4G), Audi A7 (4G8) and Audi A8 (D4 / 4H).

VAG OE component produced in cooperation with Bosch. In the MLB platform, the 4H0907107H module acts as a dedicated computer analyzing the image from the optical head mounted on the windshield. The module is directly responsible for the operation of the lane keeping assist system (Audi Active Lane Assist with active steering correction), traffic jam assist (Traffic Jam Assist), traffic sign recognition system (Traffic Sign Recognition / Speed Limit Info), adaptive Matrix LED / bi-xenon headlight control (Matrix Beam / High Beam Assist) and optical target verification for the active ACC cruise control and emergency braking (Audi Braking Guard / Pre Sense Front).

Vehicle compatibility (MLB Platform – Audi):

Audi A6 / S6 / RS6 (C7 generation / type 4G):

  • A6 Saloon / Estate / Allroad (type 4G2, 4G5, 4GH, 4GD) – model years 2014 – 2018 (facelifted models with Lane Assist and Matrix LED)

  • S6 / RS6 Estate / Performance (type 4G) – model years 2014 – 2018

Audi A7 / S7 / RS7 (4G8 generation):

  • A7 Sportback (type 4GA, 4GF) – model years 2014 – 2018 (facelifted models with Lane Assist option)

  • S7 / RS7 Sportback / Performance – model years 2014 – 2018

Audi A8 / S8 (D4 generation / type 4H):

  • A8 / A8L / S8 Quattro (type 4H2, 4H8, 4HC, 4HL) – model years 2013 – 2017 (facelifted models with Matrix LED headlights and driver assistance package)

(Important note: Index H is an advanced revision used in facelifted models. A common reason for replacing this module is an internal video communication error C1107 / C110702 on the dashboard and deactivation of the Lane Assist/ACC functions).

Installation and procedural instructions:

  • Component Protection: The J852 camera module is covered by the VAG component protection system. After installation in the vehicle, the component protection must be removed online using the ODIS service system (GeKo account).

  • Parameterization (Dataset / ZDC): For the lane keeping assist system to operate without errors, the appropriate data container must be uploaded for the exact VIN, body version, and suspension height and type (steel / pneumatic AAS).

  • Lane Assist optical calibration: After installing the module, a static calibration procedure must be carried out using the VAS 6430 calibration board on the wheel alignment stand, so that the assist system precisely recognizes the road edge lines.
