Factory component of the VAG group main electrical system. Made of high-impact, flame-retardant engineering plastic with integrated tinned copper conducting rails with high current-carrying capacity. It is responsible for safely distributing power from the main battery installation to key receiver buses, control units, and the engine compartment and under-firewall zone power distribution modules. It ensures stable voltage without power drops, factory protection against short circuits, and proper mounting of the main power cables.
