Installation and programming guidelines:

  • Immobilizer: The control unit contains the vehicle's integrated immobilizer codes. The module will not start the engine on a “Plug & Play” basis.

  • Adaptation procedure:

    • It must be coded using a diagnostic tester that supports SAIC / MG systems (online immobilizer procedure), or

    • Perform a complete memory clone (read and write the TriCore processor's flash and EEPROM contents) on a workbench in Bench / Boot mode at a specialist automotive mechatronics workshop.

  • Actuator adaptation: After installation and the first start-up, the throttle body must be adapted and the learned fuel-trim values reset.
